Need TYK version containing fix for There was a problem proxying the request issue

Hi All

We checked the following documentation for resolution of above mentioned error:
https://tyk.io/docs/troubleshooting/tyk-gateway/problem-proxying-request/

and it states that
Users are advised to upgrade to the latest versions of any Tyk packages at their earliest convenience as a patch was released to resolve this issue.

Can anyone please provide the version details in which this issue was fixed. We have checked the release notes of latest version but could not find the mentioned issue there.

If anyone can provide that version details/release notes regarding fix of mentioned issue, that would be very helpful.

Hi,

I’m afraid the exact patch is lost to the mists of time, but from the history of the documentation page the comment was added in 2018. This corresponds with the gateway 2.7 release which included a large number of performance improvements and features to enhance upstream connection. You can read about them at Tyk Gateway v2.7
