How to use URL rewriter

I want to hit url which will return json result and with help of tyk template i ll make it in xml

my url for getting json result is : https://jsonplaceholder.typicode.com/posts/2

Now in tyk cloud i add this api and configure it as follow

in core setting target url is “https://jsonplaceholder.typicode.com/”

in Endpoint Designer

created a endpoint as GET , path: posts/{id}

response body transformation:

input type: JSON

template:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

soap:Envelope
soap:Body
{{.userId}}
{{.id}}
{{.title}}
{{.body}}
</soap:Body>
</soap:Envelope>

so till now it gives result as 404 not found

Now help me out how should i write url rewiter or any other method to get exact url to be accessible same as https://jsonplaceholder.typicode.com/posts/2 and i want to change posts/any_number

I just tested this on a cloud Gateway and the transform for the endpoint is working. I get the response:
