Hi all, I’ve searched in the Tyk website but could not find any reference to managing a SOAP api through Tyk.
Is it possible or Tyk is only designed to act as a gateway for Restfull based web services?

Thanks in advance

Hi Ignacio,

Tyk has zero suport for WSDLs, we’ve considered adding SOAP support, and if we see enough demand we may do it, but for now we’re focussing entirely on REST.

Cheers,
Martin

Martin,

+1 SOAP support

I also have a large number of SOAP web services to support and using one platform to manage those would be nice.

+1 for SOAP support.
We have SOAP services and would like to use Tyk there.

+1 for SOAP Support
Only challenge i see with SOAP support is security policies, where in access should be configurable per SOAP Operation. Like if we choose OAuth 2.0 for authentication, roles associated with the access_token should be configured which all SOAP Operation can be access by the consumer.
