Hello Tykers!

We’re happy to announce a new version of our Tyk API gateway (v1.3) and Tyk Analytics Dashboard (v0.9), this update brings some key new features which we’re quite excited about:
API Mocking - Mocking with pre-set responses is now part of the versioning system, this means you can publish sandbox versions of new API’s with example responses and then upgrade those version endpoint definitions to live as the up-stream API endpoints come on-line
Extended path support - The API mocking feature is thanks to an enhancement request by Patrick Wolleb (issue ignored paths don't support request methods · Issue #16 · TykTechnologies/tyk · GitHub), who wanted more control over which methods and paths were ignored, creating this enhancement gave us the room to expand more functionality into the versioning system  So now you can specify the methods for endpoints to treat as black list, white list or ignored
API Blueprint support - We’ve added API blueprint importing support, which means you can go from API description to mock very quickly, even with existing APIs
Health-check support - There is now a health-check endpoint which API owners can call to get spot-analytics on the status of a Tyk node and upstream API for dev-ops and infrastructure monitoring
Upstream latency tracking - Analytics entries will now include upstream latency, this is fully exposed in the Dashboard and health-check API, so you can monitor the health of your upstream systems as well as access control
Rate limit endpoint and headers - end users can now check on their rate limit status without impacting their quota
As always, we love to hear feedback on the project and any ideas about future enhancements are always appreciated.

Full details, including some rough-and-ready performance data can be found in our blog post about the release, the full changlog is in the releases page, where you can also download the latest version!

Cheers,
Martin and the Tyk team.
