We’ve jsut released an update to the API gateway: version 1.7.1. There are no new features, only a major performance boost.
Tyk gateway can now handle ~1000 requests per second on commodity hardware, in our case a 2 Core / 2 GB machine, compared to previous benchmarks, these results blow them out of the water. It also makes tyk really quite competitive, as it now performs with similar (if not better) benchmarks as other open source API gateways.

Version 1.7.1 is a drop-in replacement, you should be able to just extract the binary and drop it into your existing installation. The docker images have been updated.
