Multiple Gateways hosting few APIs

We have a need to host Multiple Gateways clusters ( 50 to 100) that will each host a small number of apis (<10). We would like all of the gateways to communicate back to a centralized API Portal to enable discovery and registry of all APIs. Would Tyk fit this architecture?

Hi,

I don’t think so - tyk nodes will load all API definitions that they can find, not a subset. So all clusters could proxy all upstream gateways.

you can segregate developers, tokens, APIs and Analytics by organisation so there is a virtual boundary (organisations have their own portal though if you are using ours) but you can’t segregate the nodes, and what they proxy physically.

thanks,
Martin
