MongoDB connection over SSL from Tyk dashboard

In the Tyk Dashboard, I am trying to connect to an Atlas mongoDB cluster over SSL by specifying ssl=true in the connection string, but the connection fails with:

ERROR Mongo connection failed (retrying):unsupported connection URL option: ssl=true

Is it possible to use SSL when connecting to the mongoDB database cluster, and if so, how ?
