LDAP for Tyk Dashboard

Is there any support for authenticating dashboard users using LDAP? It would be nice to have so that we don’t have to create brand new credentials for the dashboard. My understanding is that the current LDAP integration is only for API users, or am I mistaken?

Thanks

Hi,

Unfortunately not - we have no provision for this at the moment as Tyk Dashboard users also belong to an organisation and have their own API credentials for the management API.

We’d need a better understanding of how we could allow these users in, it might need to take the form as secondary users that have no API creds.

It’s not an impossible thing to do, but the organisation ownership is something of a logistical barrier.

Any ideas on how we can segregate organisational ownership with an LDAP backend? Maybe the LDAP query could be on a per organisation basis?

Cheers,
Martin
