Invalid Portal domain [Solved]

When I try to set my domain for the developer portal, it tells me:
Domain name is invalid, please enter a valid domain name

The domain I am trying to set is on the format:
portal.test.mydomain.com
It works fine when I use portal.mydomain.com but I will not be able to actually use this (sub-)domain.

Is there a way for me to actually be able to use these “multi-level” subdomains?

Hi!

This is currently a bug which you can follow here: Cannot set a portal domain name with more than 2 dots · Issue #1355 · TykTechnologies/tyk · GitHub

We’ll try to address the problem in an upcoming bugfix release, but in the meantime you could try the fix suggested in the issue -
‘When updating the portal name directly in mongodb, it works correctly (“cname” prop of the “tyk_organisations” collection)’

Let me know if you have any more questions,
Luan

Thank you. That seems to work.
