How does tyk make outbound calls

Hi,

I am using tyk gateway for proxying. I wanted to know what mechanism is used to do the proxy. Does tyk do any reverse proxy or hits the target url directly.

Hello @Mahesh_PS so Tyk processes the request and then creates a new a request and sends it to the target url.
