What is the recommended strategy for updating the GeoIP database? Is gateway restart the only way to do that? Can I even overwrite the DB file while the gateway is running?
Yes, I think gateway restart is a way to go. Also, overwriting DB file should be OK but you will need to restart gateway to read changes.
