Can Tyk stop/prevent DDoS?

Hi,

I am just wondering does Tyk have the ability to prevent/stop DDoS? I know that in the API, we can set the rate limiting to call the API.

Because I try to search on Tyk documentation, and could not find something related to DDoS.
