1.9 Network binding only IP6?

With 1.9 when I look at the port bindings on Ubuntu, I’m only seeing IP6 bindings and not any IP4 bindings.
Did something change with the network interface binding in 1.9?

We are having a really hard time getting 1.9 to update over 1.8 and work.

Hi Kevin,

Tyk 1.9 uses the same http server as 1.8, in fact I don’t think there’s anything different except that we use a slightly different request handling interface.

No optimisations were made for IPv6 so I’m not sure what you are seeing.

Just to confirm, we’ve are running 1.9 on our cloud servers for the past few months with no issues.

Can you provide some more detail?

If you are upgrading, please make sure to read the upgrade notes on the site as Tyk now handles its own domains management, and if you bind a host to the gateway it will ignore anything else, which could cause problems.

Cheers,
Martin
