We are creating Ingress resource with template referring to ApiDefinition.

Here Is the Tyk Ingress Controller deployed as a separate pod other that tyk gateway or it is deployed in the gateways pods?

Client → Tyk Ingress Controller Pod → Tyk Gateway Pod → Service
OR
Client → (Tyk Ingress Controller + Tyk Gateway) Pod → Service

Our Tyk Ingress Controller is now deprecated in favour of Tyk Operator.

The Gateway running in the K8S cluster becomes the Ingress, you target the Operator to sync definitions with it, unless running in licensed mode in which you target the Dashboard which is the configuration plane.
