Hi,
I am new to tyk… My Company is evaluation kana, kong and I recommended tyk.So I have to show the demo by monday…
Good news is… its very good and I like it and worked very well with out connecting to my office network…
Here is what I did
installed tyk with vagrant instace. and configured and ran and it worked very well…

but the issue is when I connected to my office network, I always see http: proxy error: dial tcp *******: getsockopt: connection refused

How can I configure tyk to run behind the corporate proxy?

Thanks in advance
Kasinath

Sure we do  it’s actually one of the easiest ways to get started with docker. Just don’t forget the initial steps for the domain:

https://tyk.io/v1.8/setup/docker/

Martin

Hi Kanath,

Ah, that’s going to be a problem. There’s no settings in Tyk to respect a proxy, it assumes it has free access to the network.

Is there a way you can demo with a locally hosted service so you don’t need to dial out?

Martin

Hi Martin,
Thanks for your response… I pointed to our servers and it worked great… So far I loved it and more user friendly than Kong (other one I am currently looking) . But I tried with Vagrant only… Now I have to try with Docker and see how it goes… Do you have documentation on docker tyke quick start?

Thanks,
