Metering in API

How can I implement metering in Tyk API gateway where I can charge API consumers based on the usage?

Tyk doesn;t have built-in billing/charge functionality, you need to add that yourself by hooking into the built-in Tyk hooks and using the Tyk API.

You can add metering by setting quotas in the key editor, or by setting up a policy and publishing it to the portal:
