I have set up the dashboard but how to get login username and password

i already have setup when i login i use the name and password from set up dashborad back username but login false

Hi,

do you mean that you’ve successfully installed Tyk and you cannot login to the Dashboard ?
You should got some errors during the process, can you provide the logs ?

which guide have you followed ?
By logs I mean while you were running the various scripts/commands we provide.
Is this something similar to what you are experiencing ?

i use With Tyk On-Premises ,Dashboard on Ubuntu when i login ,the web back fail,i have changed the username and password ,the username and password is the command back.but also failed.
this command is i use to change username.
sudo /opt/tyk-dashboard/install/bootstrap.sh XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX
I think the web may have a admin account yes or not ?

Hi,

Without the logs I can only guess that you are getting an error while you are running the bootstrap script.
This “ValueError No JSON object could be decoded" when running Dashboard Bootstrap script should help.
If not I would need to see the logs right after your sudo /opt/tyk-dashboard/install/bootstrap.sh XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX.

Hi,

you need to replace the XXX.XXX with your domain and port number, e.g new-tyk-instance.com:3000
