Where are tyk cloud datacenter located ? In europe ?
Can we choose which datacenter to use and which one not, regarding data security legal issues ?
No, the Cloud datacenter is located in the US East region, and it is not possible to choose a different location.
However, you can take a different approach to hosting Tyk by choosing the Hybrid or On-Prem solutions.
On-Prem gives you full control of the entire Tyk solution as it is hosted entirely within your own infrastructure. This is the approach taken by our banking clients.
Hybrid gives you control too, as the Gateways can be configured to not send personal data to the Cloud components. This is the approach taken by a Swiss public sector client, and they are very data security aware.
